You’re invited to an
exclusive Pre-Gala Celebration.

DETROIT ATHLETIC CLUB | THURSDAY, APRIL 16 | 4 – 6 P.M.

An evening of appreciation and connection.

Thank you for your continued support of this important mission. As one of our valued partners, you’re warmly invited to an exclusive pre-gala celebration at the historic Detroit Athletic Club in recognition of your role in advancing a truly meaningful cause.

The 2026 Building Bridges Gala is the Pope Francis Center’s (PFC) signature annual fundraiser dedicated to ending homelessness in Detroit. Hosted on the turf at Ford Field, the evening features exceptional food and drinks, exciting live and silent auctions and unique on-field experiences, including the chance to kick a field goal. That’s why our dress code for the gala encourages cocktail attire with sneakers!

This special pre-gala reception offers the perfect opportunity to connect, unwind and celebrate alongside fellow supporters.

The PFC is dedicated to providing holistic, life-changing support to individuals experiencing homelessness. It envisions a Detroit where every person has access to the resources needed for long-term stability. Through their Day Center, they meet immediate needs with dignity and care. With their Bridge Housing Campus, they provide a path toward stable, traditional housing and lasting independence. For many in the Detroit community, the PFC is more than a resource, it’s a beacon of hope.

Our leadership team, including CEO, Dale Watchowski, and Managing Director, Samantha Eckhout, have actively served for several years on the board of PFC, helping to advance the mission and support the success of the Building Bridges Gala, an initiative that is changing lives across Detroit.
